There were no trophies for either our boys’ and girls’ teams in the Cumann na mBunscol Finals which took place in Collooney yesterday. Our boys were up first but had to play second fiddle to a strong Scoil Ursula team. Despite some fine performances, the size and physicality of the opposition made it difficult for our boys to get a foothold in the game. Our girls faced Rathcormac, who had won the Mini 7’s title earlier in the year. Although not lacking any effort or endeavour, we came out second best to an impressive Rathcormac side.Thanks to all our supporters for turning out. A big míle buiochas also to Ms. Hunt an Neal Farry for their time and commitment during the year. Finally, thank you to Cumann na mBunscol for organsising the event. There’s always next year…..
