We had our first assembly of the year this morning in school. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, it was conducted over Zoom. Mr.O’Farrell, the principal spoke to the children in Junior Infants , Senior Infants, First Class and Second Class from 10am. After welcoming everybody, he had a particular warm welcome for the new pupils who have joined us in Junior Infants and other classes. We were reminded of the key hygiene messages along with the importance of having a coat at school! Mr.O’Farrell then talked about healthy lunches and how to play safely together. We finished with our assembly song – The best days of my life’.
