Fourth class held a very entertaining debate this morning.

The motion was “Primary School Children should have a half day on Fridays.”

Saoirse was the master of ceremonies and introduced both teams.

Lauren O, Ryan and Lauren H proposed the motion and Shauna, Aleasha and Laura opposed it.

They made very convincing arguments and  used tenchiques such as dramatic pausing, language for emphasis and good eye contact to get their message across.

Mr.O’Farrell as adjudicator was highly impressed by the arguments made by both teams and in the end had to declare a draw.
