John O’Callaghan from the Sligo Civil Defence along with an ambulance visited the school today. John talked to each class in our outdoor classroom and the children got a chance to walk through the ambulance. Given what happened at the recent Euro championships, CPR was talked about also. The children asked questions about John’s job and had fun learning about all the different items in the ambulance.
