6th class spent a very enjoyable day yesterday following the Ballymote Heritage Trail. The walk was facilitated by Martin Curley under the Heritage in School Scheme. During the course of the day, they visited Emlaghfad Church, The Corn Mill, Ballymote Castle, Ballymote Train Station, Ballymote Park , the Franciscan Frairy and Ballymote Courthouse. It was a day packed full of story and information.
