We had a virtual school assembly this morning. At the beginning, Mr.O’Farrell reminded everyone of the importance of good hand and respiratory hygiene. He went over once again, what this involves. Because good ventilation is crucial in preventing the spread of Covid-19, he reiterated the importance of bringing a coat to school and wearing it when outside. The pupils heard about our success at the Credit Union Art Competition and also about the upcoming Healthy Me Resilience Workshops. He wished good luck to our three teams participating in the Concern Primary School Debates. As it is the month of November, we had a moment to remember those close to us who have passed on. We linked into the feed from the Ballymote Parish Website and saw the prayer sheets we had given to Fr.James. We also had a birthday roll of honour for the months of October and November. As usual, we finished with our assembly song – ‘The best days of our lives’.
