As part of 3rd class learning all about Britain, they constructed a fantastic replica of Big Ben.  It was made from recycled material and all the children helped paint it with Ms. Davey.

Random fact  – Big Ben is the name given to the massive bell inside the clock tower, which weighs more than 13 tons (13,760 kg).  The bell has fallen silent since last August and will remain so for four years with the exception of New Years Eve and Remembrance Day.
