Last Thursday, the pupils from 3rd to sixth class went to the polls to elect their new student council. It was a keenly fought election with a total of 23 names on the ballot papers throughout the four classes. Canvassing was in full swing in the days leading up to the election. The election ran very smoothly, mainly thanks to the effort of our three sixth class pupils who supervised the voting process and counted the votes following that. The elected candidates will soon attend their first meeting of the year and will report back to their classmates on any decisions reached.
